10 Day Family Tour of Uganda
DAY 1: ARRIVAL - ENTEBBE
Your View Africa tour guide at Entebbe International Airport will receive you. We will check you into a hotel in Entebbe for a rest. After some rest, your family can enjoy the beaches of Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake by area, and the largest tropical lake in the world The lake has a surface area of 68,800 square kilometres, it is the world's 2nd largest freshwater lake by surface area; only Lake Superior in North America is larger.

DAY 2: ENTEBBE – ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY – MURCHISON FALLS
After breakfast, you shall be picked up and driven to Murchison Falls National Park.
Enroute your family can experience rhino tracking at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to the only wild rhinos in Uganda. After lunch, we will continue onto Murchison Falls National Park. Upon entrance of the park drive through Budongo forest, and see a variety of monkeys swinging from the trees. We will check you into our lodge for dinner.

DAY 3: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
After your early morning breakfast, we shall do a game drive in the park and traverse the major game trails to view lots of amazing game such as elephants, warthogs, lions, antelopes of various species, water buffalo, giraffes, birds and lots more. The game drive is about 4 to 5 hours.
After your lunch you shall do a boat cruise on the mighty Nile. This is probably the major highlight of a Murchison safari for your family. During this 3 hour relaxing cruise, youyou’re your children will be in awe of hippos lounging in the Nile waters, lots of gapping Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffalos, birds, and lots of other typical Uganda wildlife immersed in a spectacular savanna landscape.
Return the your lodge for dinner.

DAY 4: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK – QUEEN ELIZABETH
We shall check out your lodge after breakfast and drive to the top of the glamorous Murchison Falls, where the River Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, only 7 metres wide, tumbles 43 metres down, then flows westward into Lake Albert. This natural phenomenon creates nearly permanent rainbow at the top. After your hike, we’ll drive out of Murchison Falls National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This drive takes us along Lake Albert as your family can enjoy great views of the Great Rift Valley.
Upon arrival we will check you into your lodge for overnight and dinner.

DAY 5: QUEEN ELIZABETH
We shall have an early morning game drive to hunt for the spectacular African wildlife. We shall view lots of antelopes, elephants, and attempt to spot leopards, the only park in Uganda, this wild cat can be found.
We shall have an afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel (body of water joining Lakes George and Edward) and view lots of hippos, crocodile, birds, and typical Ugandan wildlife immersed in a spectacular savanna landscape.

DAY 6: QUEEN ELIZABETH – LAKE MBURO
Early morning we shall travel to the Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth, popular for its tree-climbing lions. We shall view these unique lions (no guarantee though)
After lunch, we shall visit the community fishing village for a passive local fishing experience and also tour the Lake Katwe Salting Mining area, before heading out of the park.

DAY 7: LAKE MBURO
After breakfast, choose from a walking safari or horseback safari, the only park for such a unique experience to view of zebras, elands, topis, waterbucks.

DAY 7: LAKE MBURO – KAMPALA
After breakfast, enjoy a photo opportunity with the family at the crossing of the equator.

DAY 8: NGAMBA ISLAND
Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, found on Lake Victoria, cares for rescued orphaned chimpanzees mainly from poachers and failed attempts by people to smuggle them out of Uganda.
On Ngamba your family will get close or even feed the 44 Chimpanzees human’s closest primate relative. These chimpanzees roam freely on the 100 hectares of a forested island.

DAY 9: KAMPALA
Enjoy a city tour of culture through Uganda’s capital city. In the evening your family will be treated to Uganda cultural dance show at Ndere Center. Fun dinner entertainment for the entire family.
