18 Day Deluxe Uganda Safari
DAY 1: ARRIVAL - KAMPALA
You will be received by your View Africa tour guide at Entebbe International Airport. If you arrive at night, we check you into a hotel in Entebbe for a rest. If you arrive early, we will drive to Kampala. Overnight and dinner in Kampala.

DAY 2: KAMPALA - JINJA
After breakfast, meet with your driver for a briefing of your safari itinerary and continue to the eastern part of Uganda through sugar cane and tea plantations. Upon arrival in Jinja you’ll have lunch at the Sunset Hotel. After lunch, take a tour of Jinja town, source of the Nile with a boat cruise to the starting point of the Nile River. Then drive to Bujagali falls to see the entertaining local kayakers paddle the grade 4 white water rapid.

DAY 3: JINJA – SIPI FALLS – MOUNT ELGON NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive to Mbale with spectacular views from the rocky hills overlooking the community villages and Mount Elgon. Upon arrival, you’ll check into the lodge and have lunch. After lunch continue for a trek through the rocks as you advance to the Sipi falls and Caves. This is a wonderful experience as you go through villages and meet families below Mountain Elgon. Return in the evening for dinner.

DAY 4: MT. ELGON - KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
With an early breakfast, we drive towards Kitgum town for lunch. We continue to Kidepo Valley National Park, the most remote national park of Uganda. Because of the park’s northern most location in the country it remains an untouched wilderness of Africa. Freshen up and have dinner. Being located right in the park, you’ll fall asleep to the sounds of the wild.

DAY 5: KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
After a cup of coffee/tea at the lodge, we drive through the game trails for opportunities to see the wildlife. Expect ostriches, hyenas, lions on rocks, jackals, buffalos, zebras, elephants, lots of antelopes, dik diks, and giraffes. We will drive along River Narus, with opportunities to view a variety of birds and return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you’ll have the opportunity to participate in culture tours, with the local Karamojong people, a tribe deep rooted in their local traditions, go on walking safaris with zebras, or enjoy the view of wildlife right from your own veranda. We continue for an afternoon/evening game drive.

DAY 6: KIDEPO NATIONAL PARK- MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest park which is over 5000 square kilometres. Have lunch in Pakwach en route for Muchison.

DAY 7: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
An early cup of tea/coffee at 6:00am Ferry crossing, to the Game drive Nile river Bank to the broad savannah for the most likelihood Big cats hunting, Elephants, Giraffes, Buffalos, plus more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76 we continue browsing the Drive circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals .banks. If you are a keen birder this might be your magnet to catch them. Afternoon-2-5pm for a 3hours Boat ride to the base of Falls where you get to see the Hippos, Grooming in there Pods, Nile crocodiles, elephants and a variety of beautiful bird species along the falls.

DAY 8: MURCHISON FALLS - FORT PORTAL
Morning breakfast, check out of the park and drive along lake Albert,to the escarpment area for a great view of the great rift valley, continue to Hoima town for lunch at the Kolping Hotel, continue through Mabale, kagadi towns with great views the local community, thatched houses, school kids and finally to Kyenjojo town. Remember it a dirt road from Murchison falls to Kyenjonjo town. Drive 55km to fort portal town and continue through the tea plantations for your evening.

DAY 9: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING
Early morning breakfast, continue to Kibale Park headquarters for a morning briefing and start the chimpanzee tracking experience. Expect to encounter a variety of monkeys, birds and tree species.
Return for lunch and choose an afternoon of relaxation or a nature walk.

DAY 10: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK - SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK
Early morning breakfast and drive to Semuliki National Park which will take us about 2 ½ hours from Kibale Forest. Check into the lodge for lunch, get ready for an afternoon game drive with chances of sightings of lots of antelopes.

DAY 11: SEMULIKI PARK - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Morning breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with great views of Rwenzori Mountain, drive through Kasese town to Katara Lodge for your lunch. Get ready for an evening boat ride on the Kazinga channel with chances of many bird’s species, hippos, elephants, crocodiles, leopards.

DAY 12: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Morning game drive, in the park lots of game to see, Uganda kobs, lions, elephants, buffallos and warthogs. Evening relaxation at the lodge as you look at the flat plains of the park with chances of viewing elephants in the acacia tree plants

DAY 13: LAKE KATWE - BWINDI IMPENETRABLE PARK
Early breakfast and continue to Lake Katwe tourism center for a traditional salt mining experience and a visit to Lake Munyanyange for great chance of sighting flamingos. Check out and continue to Bwindi through the Ishasha plains with chances of seeing the tree climbing lions on the way. Lunch at Savannah Resort Hotel, continue to Bwindi and check into Buhoma Community for an overnight.

DAY 14: BWINDI – GORILLA TREKKING
After an early breakfast and debriefing you’ll be on your way to your gorilla trekking experience, get close to the gentle giants at least 2 meters to the gorillas. Return at your lodge for an overnight.

DAY 15: BWINDI FOREST - LAKE BUNYONYI
After breakfast, continue through Bwindi Forest to the open hilly areas over looking Kabale town. Drive through the potatoes cultivations and along Lake Bunyonyi. Check into Overland Camp for lunch and enjoy Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxing afternoon.

DAY 16: LAKE BUNYONYI
After the long days on dirt roads, we relax on Lake Bunyonyi, with optional canoeing and village walks.

DAY 17: LAKE BUNYONYI - LAKE MBURO
Morning breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, check into the park as you drive through the game trails with chances of zebras, elands, topis, waterbucks. lunch at Mihingo Lodge.
Evening boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi with chances of fish eagles, hippos crocodiles.

DAY 18: LAKE MBURO - ENTEBBE
After a morning nature walk, we’ll drive you to Entebbe for your evening flight at Entebbe International Airport.
