3 day Luxury Murchsion/Chimp Tracking Safari

DAY 1: KAMPALA - MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

You will depart for Murchison Falls National Park arriving in the afternoon. The drive will take approximately 5-6 hours and will give you a good insight on the Ugandan way of life.   You will stop in Masindi for lunch and then proceed to the top of the falls.  You will be drive to the edge of the water and witness the River Nile plunging down to a narrow 7 metres gorge, taking a ferry across the river to Paraa Safari Lodge. Enjoy a rest in a luxurious room or relax by the pool before dinner.

DAY 2: KANIYO PABIDI FOREST – CHIMP TRACKING – BOAT CRUISE ON THE  NILE.   

After breakfast, you will go for Chimpanzee tracking in Kaniyo Pabidi Forest. This is an undisturbed area of natural forest within Budongo Forest Reserve where you can walk beneath mature mahogany and iron wood trees. Chimpanzee tracking is the most famous activity. You will definitely see many forest birds, including the chocolates-backed Kingfisher, the white-thigh hornbill, the chocolates-backed Kingfisher and puvel's illadopsis found nowhere else in East Africa. After your morning trek you will have lunch and transfer to the Nile River banks for an afternoon boat cruise. Enjoy a two-hour Nile River cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison Falls with opportunities to see the amazing hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and buffalos along the riverbanks.

DAY 3: MURCHISON FALLS GAME DRIVE - KAMPALA 

 

After an early breakfast, you’ll go for a classic game drive in search of wildlife like giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, lions, and a variety of bird species.  After the drive lunch is served. You will depart Murchison Falls National Park and arrive back in Kampala in the evening.
