7 Day Wildlife and Chimpanzee Safari

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport you will be met by your View Africa Safari tour guide and you will be taken to an already reserved hotel. 

Meals:  Dinner (depending on arrival)

DAY 2 - KAMPALA - MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK 

Drive through Uganda's capital city, Kampala to Masindi town for an early lunch at Court View Hotel, continue to the park through Kichumbanyobo gate through Bongo forest where you'll spot baboons swinging from the trees.

As you reach the Nile river you'll branch off to begin your nature hike to the top of Murchison Falls. You'll witness the Nile force its way through a gap in the rocks, only 7 metres wide, dropping 43 metres to flow westward into Lake Albert.

DAY 3 - MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK 

An early cup of coffee/tea-packed breakfast, cross the Nile River with the ferry at 7:00 am and get into the game trails in search of wildlife. expect to see waterbucks, Jackson's Heart-bests, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Elephants, Hyenas, Uganda Kobs, Lions, Leopards Warthogs, Oribi, and Hippos. After your early morning game drive you'lll return to your lodge for lunch.

After lunch you will take a 3 hour boat cruise on the River Nile with chances of getting close to crocodiles, hippos, elephants, and buffalos in their mud play grounds.

Return to your lodge or optional evening game drive for dinner and overnight in the park.

DAY 4:  MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK - KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

With an early breakfast, drive via Buliisa Town along Lake Albert with a stopover at the Rift Valley Escarpment. Continue to Hoima through Biiso town for lunch at Kolping Hotel. Continue via Mabaale, Kagadi, Kyenjojo towns to Fort Portal and continue to Kibale National Park for an overnight.

DAY 5: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK - CHIMPANZEE TRACKING

Morning breakfast, and get to the briefing area at 7:45am as you get ready for the Chimpanzee tracking in Kibale forest. Return later in time for lunch. Evening Nature walk at Bigodi wetland for yet another chance of seeing the uncommon L’Hoest’s Monkey, red colubus monkey, potto and lots of Birds over 335 species for example the famous shoe bill.

Overnight In Kibale National Park.

Accommodation: 

DAY 6- KIBALE NATIONAL PARK - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive through the local villages near the crater lakes and continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park.  You'll check into your lodge, have a relaxing lunch and get ready for a 21/2 hr boat ride on Lake Edward/George on the 36k metre long Kazinga Channel.

Evening Game drive and return to your lodge for dinner and overnight in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

DAY 7 - QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - KAMPALA - ENTEBBE

Morning breakfast, game drive and drive back to Kampala via Mbarara for lunch at Agip Motel.
