DAY 1: ARRIVAL - KAMPALA

You will be received by your View Africa tour guide at Entebbe International Airport. If you arrive at night, we check you into a hotel in Entebbe for a rest. If you arrive early, we will drive to Kampala. Overnight and dinner in Kampala.

DAY 2: KAMPALA – MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest park, spanning over 5000 square kilometres. Drive through Luwero Triangle famous with Ugandan civil war of 1980, Nakasongola long stretch to Masindi town advance into the park. Check into Nile Safari Lodge for lunch. Dinner and over night at Nile Safari Lodge relaxation or Fort Murchison budget, Budongo Eco lodge.

DAY 3: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

An early cup of tea/coffee at 6:00am Ferry crossing, to the Game drive Nile river Bank to the broad savannah for the most likely sightings of big cats hunting, elephants, giraffes, buffalos, plus more as the checklist of mammals reaches 76 we continue browsing the Drive circuits to the Delta point for a cocktail of Birds and mammals. If you are a keen birder this is the best place to catch them. Afternoon-2-5pm for a 3 hour boat ride to the base of the Falls where you get to see the Hippos, Grooming in there Pods, Nile crocodiles, elephants and a variety of beautiful bird species along the falls. Elephants quenching their thirst during the afternoon sun! Dinner and overnight Nile river safaris, Budongo Eco lodge.

DAY 4: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK – KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

Morning breakfast, check out of the park and drive along lake Albert to the escarpment area for a great view of the great rift valley, continue to Hoima town for lunch at the Kolping Hotel. Continue through Mabale, kagadi towns with great views the local community, thatched houses, school kids and finally to Kyenjojo town. Drive 55km to fort portal town and continue through the tea plantations for your evening. Check into primates’ lodge in Kibaale forest for the night, kibaale guest house for budget.

DAY 5: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK – CHIMPANZEE TRACKING

Early morning breakfast, continue to Kibale park headquarters for a morning briefing and start the chimpanzee tracking experience. expect loads of monkeys, birds and lots tree species. Return for lunch at the Primates lodge. Evening relaxation or Bigodi Nature swamp walk with lots of monkey species like the Uganda Mangabey, grey-cheeked mangabey and more to be sighted in the forest. Overnight at Primates Lodge, Chimpanzee guest house

DAY 6: KIBALE – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK - BWINDI

Drive through Queen Elizabeth National park through Ishasha and if we are lucky, we may find the tree lions. The park is blessed with an assortment of crater lakes, forested gorges, savannah plains, swamps, rivers and the beautiful Kazinga channel home to abundance of wildlife.

Overnight in Buhoma lodge, Gorilla mist lodge, Silverback lodge, Buhoma Community Lodge.

DAY 7: BWINDI – GORILLA TREKKING

After breakfast, you will receive a briefing at 8 am and start the day of gorilla trekking adventure.

Return later and Overnight at Buhoma lodge/Optional visit to Lake Bunyonyi.
